18. How to recommend a second opinion for foundation performance

The TREC SOP does not require that you recommend that your client obtain a second opinion concerning foundation performance. Your goal should be to properly inform your client in a way that maintains your credibility. That applies to second opinions also.

Always give a reason for a second opinion
